What you will do
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Acts as the primary contact to clients and brokers and represents the benefits of TU Group Products.
- Proactively sells TU Group products to new and renewing clients.
- Creates and maintains positive customer/broker relations by responding to questions/problems/changes
or escalating them as appropriate.
- Responds to phone inquiries from claimants and providers.
What you will bring
- 2-3 years experience in a call centre/customer service environment.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma an asset.
- Strong communication skills in English and a second language required (French, Japanese, Cantonese, or Mandarin).
- Proven sales experience preferably in a call centre environment.
- Successful completion of Level One Insurance License (within 3 months of start date).
- Successful completion of Accident & Sickness Exam (within 6 months of start date).
- Must be able to work flexible hours (M-F 6am-6pm;
Sat. 8am-4pm; Holiday shifts).
- Superior customer service skills that consistently demonstrate professionalism.
- Must be results-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite and database).
