Who You Are
You are an experienced Java programmer who is passionate about quality and clean code, a great communicator, and someone who
takes initiative to see projects through from start to finish.
What You Will Do
- Develop new and modify existing web applications
- Perform analysis of business requirements to define technical requirements
- Write and execute unit and integration tests and debug programs as appropriate
What You Will Bring
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written English), organizational and analytical skills
- Degree or diploma in computer science
- 3+ years of programming experience in a web-based environment
- Experience developing Swing desktop applications
- 3+ years of experience in J2EE programming with a strong knowledge of
object-oriented concepts
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with the following: JSP, Struts, Tiles, Hibernate,
Spring, JDBC, DHTML, OO Design and J2EE 1.4 specification
- Familiarity with J2EE 5.0 specification
- A strong attitude of service delivery with an eye towards usability
- Experience with Oracle Forms & PL/SQL is an asset
