What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Develop, customize and implement bug-free J2EE applications in an agile environment.
- Perform analysis of business requirements to define technical solutions.
- Solve complex problems by leading analysis and development of technical solutions; guide other team members in problem solving activities.
- Work with leading platforms and technologies including Seam, Hibernate, JSF, EJB and Oracle.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of software development experience in Java/J2EE, with a strong knowledge and experience with Object-Oriented Design.
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience with the following: Java, JSP, Hibernate, Spring, Struts, JAXP/JAXB, RichFaces, EJB, JDBC, DHTML, JBoss and Ant.
- Strong data modeling and SQL skills; experience working with Oracle.
- Experience with Oracle Forms & PL/SQL is an asset.
- Experience using Redhat BRMS and BPM would be an asset.
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written English), organizational and analytical skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check.
